The Next Day
Worried he had been misunderstood, he grabbed Aries arm as she turned to leave, “P-Please don’t go…” He was fighting back tears, was he really about to lose Aries over a stupid night and several misunderstandings? “Aries, I want to always be friends with you! A-and maybe after some time, if y-you feel the same way, something m-more….” he pulls her into a hug, tears no longer held back, “J-Just please don’t leave me! I don’t want to lose you over something so stupi-hi-hid…”
Aries was shocked by his hug and the insinuation that he felt more than friendship. What was it with drunks and claiming to love her? She hugged him back and pet his hair, not exactly good at physical intimacies (unless she was drunk, apparently).
“I-I won’t l-leave… P-please d-don’t think I w-would want t-to. I just th-thought you didn’t want m-me around or that y-you’d grown tired of m-me… I’m glad that’s not the c-case”
And she was glad, because she valued Gray as a friend and he was very good to her. She enjoyed the time they spent togethere (aside from one very awkward night) and wanted to get to know him. He made her happy and a little more comfortable with the world.
“I-I’m sorry… P-please don’t be s-sad anymore… I’m sorry”

Cana shook her head, and pursed her lips together with a small frown. “No, not Taurus.” The brunette turned to see Mira come over with the food, and she showed her a weak smile, and then the same to Aries.
“I’m not hungry..” Cana still wasn’t in a talking mood either, but eventually she gave in to her non-hungry urges and started to take a few small bites from the food that the fluffy-pink ram had ordered for her.
“And I don’t know what to say..” She knew Gray was here, as she’d heard his voice but she didn’t and couldn’t even look at him today and she was sure that he hadn’t even bothered to look at her either. “Someone did.” Was her answer, and she gripped the sleeves on her orange jacket tighter around her wrists.
Her head hung low, and she was just afraid of breaking down in the guild because it was the one thing she never wanted to do.
Aries took in her discomfort and looked at Mira who shrugged. “M-maybe we can t-talk somewhere e-else. She stopped petting Cana until the brunette looked at her. “I know you’re tired and y-you’re s-sad but I-I only want to know whats g-going on so that I-I can help. You c-can trust me…”
On a whim she wrapped her arms around her broken friend. It wasn’t at all like her to do something so intimate but her heart reached out to Cana and she acted on impulse. “I’m sorry” the ram said as she pulled away, hoping she hadn’t crossed the line.

[/Lucy patted her friends hand and listened to her story.] [/She really had been around a lot of the guild members lately. Juvia, Cana, and Gray were no surprise. Heck she wasn’t even that surprised about Gajeel…but Laxus? She felt uneasy with that man being with her spirits. However, she trusted Aries judgment.]
[/As Aries continued to get more nervous Lucy stroked her hair hoping it would relax her.]
maybe we could spend some time together soon? Since you can use your own magic now, how about you Virgo and I hang out?
[/Lucy smiled lightly at her shy spirit.]

She felt awful for being distant from Lucy but after her previous bad experiences it was hard to trust any summoner. She felt like she would do anything for her new mistress since she brought Leo back but at the same time she couldn’t forget how Leo had ended up in the situation he had been in the first place.
“I-I owe you a g-great deal. I’m s-sorry for not being more mindful of that”
The Next Day
“W-Want you?!?!” Gray startled at Aries horrible choice of words, “I-I dont know if t-that’s a good idea, Aries…” he wiggled around uncomfortably, “I-I think we shouldn’t go to quickly… A-And I thought that sort of thing is…” his voice trailing off, she couldnt have meant that she wanted to be i-intimate… his face flushed at the thought of Aries naked, an image forever in his mind reminding him of that night… Hopefully if it ever got that far again it was under more preferred circumstances…
”O-oh… you d-don’t want to start b-being friends a-again just yet? I-I’m sorry. I u-understand” she sniffed, wiping at her eyes. “R-really you’ve already be nicer to me than I deserve a-and I knew I-I would make y-you unhappy at some point. I-I’m so sorry for my behavior… I w-wasn’t myself but that’s no excuse. I-I’ll just leave now”
She was fighting an epic battle inside against the urge to sob. This all made sense. She knew it would happen. It hurt but she could survive it. She needed to train more anyway. She’d miss her friends at Fairy Tail but she couldn’t visit in case he was there.

[/Lucy blinked a bit surprised. She smiled and gave Aries a hug.]
Its alright. I had heard a bit about it. Just be careful ok? Please don’t drain your energy. [/She sighed. She was a bit worried about her shy spirit. Her spirit had been off running around and she had worried just a bit. It was all ok now, but at the same time she was so glad she had this chance to talk to her now.]
So who have you been spending time with? [/She had heard about Gajeel, but she wasn’t sure who else she had been around. It was interesting but she didn’t want to pry into her spirits life. Still if Aries wanted to tell her she would listen.]
”O-oh… I’ve been going o-out with a f-few p-people as f-friends. Juvia and I w-went shopping, Gray took me to dinner, Eve t-took me to a carnival, Gajeel… it’s complicated… Cana a-and I have been talking a-and I met a v-very interesting man named B-Bixlow. M-Mira is very nice about serving me thing while w-we chat a-and she knows m-my favorite drinks… A-and Laxus has been a-asking me w-weird questions…. I think that’s the majority. I-I’ve been very s-social”
She smiled and blushed, happy to have friends to talk about. She loved Fairy Tail and so far meeting everyone and making friends had paid off with a slight confidence boost.
“B-but I s-still visit and chat w-with the other s-spirits too. In fact I-I was training w-with Saggitarius not too long a-ago. L-eo is his usual self, o-of course. Virgo is still teasing m-me and I keep h-having to protect Gemini… Aquarius and Scorpio sometimes w-want my company. I u-usually cook for them…”
Realizing she was talking about herself too much she was quick to apologize. “B-but I’m r-ready to fight whenever y-you need me! Always! Lucy i-is my top p-priority!”
